Children's Ministry
Your child is very important to us! The purpose of our youth ministry is to assist you in rearing your child for the Lord Jesus
Christ. We seek to reach this goal through the following programs:
SUNDAY SCHOOL
A class setting where children are taught an understandable Bible lesson applicable to their daily lives by a loving, caring
teacher
Our classes range from infants to the 6th grade. Each class is filled with children that are the age of your child, and every
Bible lesson is applicable to their particular age group. In addition, all classes are designed to assist parents in raising
their child to live for Jesus Christ.
CHILDREN'S CHURCH
A service designed on a child’s interest level that helps them worship God in spirit and in truth
Our children’s church provides children the opportunity to grow and learn to be like Jesus Christ every Sunday. The children’
s services include a time of singing, object lessons, puppets, preaching of God’s Word, and a question time of review.
There are also special promotions that take place with individual children’s churches throughout the year.
MOTHER'S DAY OUT
Tuesdays & Thursdays
9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Mother’s Morning Out is a program designed for children 2-5 years old. Each day provides a comfortable and stimulating
routine and many opportunities for both teacher-directed activities and child-choice activities. Manipulatives, puzzles, block
center, books, housekeeping and dress-up corner all help to enrich your child’s learning environment. Their days will
include art projects, rhythm band, singing, stories and playground or indoor activities.
Mother’s Morning Out strives to provide children with creative learning opportunities and social experiences. Our program
is flexible; our classes are small and not rigidly structured and are led by qualified teachers who help meet each child’s
individual needs, encourage independent behavior and develop creativity.
Another purpose of our program is to provide mothers with a few “child-free” hours each week to run errands, schedule
appointments, or just have some “me” time!
Most importantly, Mother’s Morning Out is an outreach program of Bethel Church and as such, we use the Bible as a source
for stories and songs. Our program extends to the entire Woodbridge community a place where children are exposed to
the universal concept of God's love.
