Bethel Christian School
Statement Of Purpose

The objective of a Christian school is to teach
children how to live and to equip them for success.
Proverbs 22:6 admonishes adults to train up a child
in THE way he SHOULD go.
A Christian school is an extension of the home in
training young people. The school staff works
closely with parents to train the whole child, mind
and the soul.
Bethel Christian School is a “Christian School” as opposed to a public (government) or
private (owned by a private individual or corporation) school. Our purpose is to provide
“life training” for the student. Our goal is to produce Christian men and women who will
be leaders in the next generation.
Bethel Christian School uses the ABEKA
curriculum for K 4-5. ABEKA reflects the very
best in scholarship, design and scriptural
integrity.

1st & 2nd grades use a mixture of the ABEKA
and the Biblically based Accelerated Christian
Education curricula.

Accelerated Christian Education curriculum is
used for grades three and up.
"Accelerated Christian Education"
Is an elementary and secondary academic program that combines the traditional one
room school with completely individualized, diagnostically prescribed, high-tech
learning.
It incorporates the most advanced computer and
multimedia technology. This includes computer/video
interactive learning and testing.
Each student has their own private "office" learning area,
where they work their way through a full scope and
sequence of curriculum with one on one individualized
learning assistance.
A safety net provides security from failure, and individualized skills mastery is
supplemented by class activities where it is essential. This curriculum includes Scripture
memorization and integrates the Bible throughout the various subjects--all designed to
help students develop moral character, a sense of accountability, and wisdom in their
lives.
